While their debut album was somewhat unique, it was nothing close to being revolutionary. While it was worth at least a few listens, it's perhaps one those albums which just makes you forget about it after a while.Mutations EP takes on a much more experimental approach, which I of course greatly appreciate. It brings in dissonant sound manipulation and certainly doesn't stick to that tired formula of mellow nu jazz.
Although it's an EP, it's actually 38 minutes long.
