Coil - Love's Secret Domain (1991) [V0]

ACID ACID ACID. The pinnacle of Coil's more energetic fucked up electronica aspect. Results vary from mind fuckery to catchy moments to bad trips.

Boris - Japanese Heavy Rock Hits Vol. 2 [7"] (2009) [FLAC/V0]

The first track of Vol. 2 is actually quite appalling, it tries very hard to become avant-garde or ironic or something and it just turns out to be as bad as it actually is.

Second track doesn't try very hard to be better, but it's a much more subtle experience and a much stronger one as well.

Overall I found it very disappointing, but the second track is listenable. I never really had much expectation on this series at all, but vol.1 at least came off as very catchy. After reading the comments on the first volume, I'm sure there are plenty of you that want to hear this for yourselves though, so here it is.

Faust - Hamburg Studio Sessions 2009 (2009) [FLAC&V0]

Classic krautrock band Faust. Released on CD-R, limited to 400 copies and sold during tour.

Does at time border to drone music, very rich in texture and never dragging out a song for a too long time.

Pix from the show.

Muslimgauze - United States of Islam (1991) [FLAC&V0]

Layers of minimal percussion come together and form a humble ambient soundscape. His work and sound is inspired by the muslim world, he is a known supporter of palestine and much of his work focus on the Isreali-Palestinian conflict. Plays all the instruments himself.

Incapacitants - Lon Guy (2009) [V0]

Didn't like this one all too much, but at least it gets better towards the end. Thought some of you might still be interested in hearing it for yourselves though.

If you're new to Incapacitants I much more recommend "As Loud As Possible", which is much more interesting and engaging. I re-uploaded the FLAC of that album as a bonus.

Hanatarash - 2 (1988) [256]

Take the extremes of no wave and multiply them several times. Take your typical japanese insanity and multiply it several times.

Hanatarash is Yamaysuka eYe (best known from Boredoms) and Mitsuru Tabata (best known from Zeni Geva). Hanatarash was as much art in sound as it was performance art in destruction.

Prurient - Rose Pillar (2009) [24.96FLAC/FLAC/V0]

I checked this out without any expectations (didn't like "And Still, Wanting") and was positively surprised, and I can't deny that this guy has gained some respect of mine after he raped my ears at No Fun Fest.

Tries to invoke some sort of terror atmosphere by the means of dark ambient soundscapes in combination with some harsh vocals and noisings.
